As a business professional involved in a diverse collection of management functions, roles and organizations over the past 15 + years, I have had the opportunity to develop expertise in a variety of areas.
This has allowed me to create and conduct training programs that have helped participants learn and develop and organizations reach their goals! Each program is specifically customized to meet the needs of my clients!
Below is a sampling of my training programs. If there is another topic of interest to you, contact me and we can discuss how I can deliver exactly what you need.
Building Team Synergy
The focus of this program is a team synergy activity where participants learn about the principles of making decisions in a group and how to lead and follow in a team crisis situation. The simulation exercise is fused with team success theory as well as practical lessons that revolve around issues that exist in their current workplace. A fun and informative learning experience for all!
Increasing Your Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence is based on the belief that successful individuals are able to manage their emotions in the face of
problems, as well as work with others in difficult situations. In this program, participants watch a video of a workplace situation that is full of emotional tension, and then identify which emotions they saw, why these emotions existed,
and what the individuals could have done to handle the situation for the betterment of all involved.
Building and Sustaining Highly Effective Teams
Built for managers and leaders of all types of organizations, this program guides participants through how teams function, team development stages, and decision making strategies. Managers learn about various roles individuals “play” that make up a team dynamic and how to lead each person individually, while keeping the best interests of the team and the organization at heart.
Leadership During Crisis
What makes a situation a “crisis” and how should people respond to crisis situations? This program is focused on participants viewing a crisis scenario video and then learning practical strategies for coping in crisis situations. Based on this information, participants then work together to decide what the leader should have done to mitigate the damage done by the situation. Participants also discuss their current workplace, what possible threats exist and what plans could be considered in case of a crisis situation.
Managing for Service Excellence
This program explores what it takes to move an organization’s customer service from “ok” to “quality” to “excellence.” Aspects of customer service are explored, along with service assessment, resource allocation and leading and supporting line service staff.
Discovering Your Individual Style
Who are you? How are you? Why are you? These are just some of the questions we explore in this informative and interactive program focused on participants learning about themselves in an entirely new way! Individuals will take an assessment that will reveal aspects to their natural personality style, as well as participate in a dynamic exercise to learn more about how to act, interact and react with others who previously may have seemed too difficult to handle.
They say, “Time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.” Find out what this means as well as where your time goes, how you can better manage not just your time, but your energy to maximize your time, and strategies for optimal time management for personal success!
Everyone experiences stress, either in their work lives, their personal lives, or both. This program is focused on the types of stress most often experienced in the workplace, and what can be done by each of us to minimize our stress, as well as handle difficult, stressful situations for our personal benefit and the benefit of the organization.
